Moscow Fashion Week is held in Gostiny Dvor, one of the most beautiful historical sites in Moscow. Gostiny Dvor is an antique architectural masterpiece located in the very heart of Moscow, in just a hundred meters from the Kremlin.
Built in the 18th century, it has been totally altered inside providing the highest level of services and facilities that are seen as vital for arranging exhibitions and various events. Gostiny Dvor has proved to be considered the most prestige exposition center in Moscow.
Gostiny Dvor today is:
- over 100 000 square meters of the total complex area
- 12 000 square meters of the courtyard covered with the world largest translucent ceiling
-About 10 various cafes and restaurants
- the complex also implies the observation deck on the roof of the building where visitors could be taken in transparent lifts to enjoy the breathtaking Moscow view.

It was a lovely surprise to be invited to take part in Volvo Fashion Week Moscow. I am almost unfamiliar with Russian fashion designers so this has been a great opportunity to gain new experience and meet new talented people.
