Moscow Fashion Week has proved to be considered the greatest professional event in Russian fashion industry. I am convinced that this project will show itself as the most brilliant, the most competent and the most promising one in terms of shaping Russian fashion.

I am pleased to see Moscow Fashion Week acquiring new forms and being filled with new content, as I was at the cradle of this event and have always been excited to take part in it.

Volvo Fashion Week Moscow is a part of the international Fashion Week system and traditionally picks up the baton from Paris, New York, London and Milan. The history of the legendary Russian fashion industry project stretches back into the year of 1994 consistently representing collections by Russian and CIS designers.

Since the very first time it was carried out Moscow Fashion Week has made it possible to demonstrate the achievements, potential and prospects of the Russian market providing the mechanism of promoting and integrating Russian fashion industry into the world market.

It is amazing to be able to call Moscow the Capital of Fashion just like other cities of the world such as Milan, Paris, New York… It wouldn’t be possible without Moscow Haute Couture Week which has recently been renamed into Volvo Fashion Week.

I am happy to be at Volvo Fashion Week Moscow this year. You don’t often see such perfect fashion week organization around the world. I specially asked the organizers to make the oil pouring down the huge wall as a background of my runway show.
