of Fashion week in Moscow

As usual, this year’s Fashion Week will take place in the Gostiny Dvor, one of the most beautiful historical monuments in Moscow. Located in the heart of the capital within a hundred meters of the Kremlin, the Gostiny Dvor is an ancient work of architectural art.     It was originally built in the 18th century, but was recently completely redone inside and is now capable of providing all the accommodations necessary for exhibitions and other events.  The Gostiny Dvor is thus rightfully considered the most prestigious exhibition hall in Moscow.     Today the Gostiny Dvor has almost 100,000m2 of total space, with a 12,000m2 inner courtyard that is covered by the biggest glass ceiling in the world.  In addition, the complex contains 10 different cafés, bars, and restaurants, as well as an observation point on the roof of the building.  Accessible by a glass elevator, the observation point provides visitors with a unique panorama of downtown Moscow.
